The Apostle, Dr. Lobias Murray, founder of Full Gospel Holy Temple Church, Inc. and Lobias Murray Christian Academy, was a man of unlimited vision and endowed with an unshakable faith in God. During the mid 70’s, while preaching in a Full Gospel Holy Temple, Inc. annual convocation, he emphatically proclaimed: “I have a VISION!” On September 10, 1979, that vision was revealed as the ribbon was cut and over 100 eager-eyed students walked through the doors of Lobias Murray Christian Academy, located at 330 Ann Arbor in Dallas, Texas.
Although Apostle Murray leaves us a legacy of holiness, his passion was young people. He envisioned a generation of young people who would love God and impact the world through service and leadership. Indeed, many of them are. The school’s administrators and teachers were successful in instilling Christian principles, work ethics and life skills in students and produced career minded, focused and accomplished young men and women.
To perpetuate our school founder’s legacy, the Apostle Lobias Murray Memorial Scholarship has been organized. Each year $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded to three students who embody the moral and ethical principles of our legendary school founder in their home, school, church and community. Your generous contribution for this worthy cause is appreciated.

“I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign . . . I am much afraid that schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth.” - Martin Luther
